Community guidelines
Sabi works because every member has been reviewed and every member is accountable. These guidelines apply to profiles, photos, posts, comments, messages, group chats, storefronts and listings.
1. Be real
- Use your own name, your own photos and accurate details about your work and where you live.
- One person, one account. Business accounts represent a real business you are authorised to act for.
- Don't impersonate anyone, and don't misrepresent your age, identity, credentials or intentions.
2. Respect consent
- Matches only happen when both people choose to connect. Take a pass as an answer.
- Don't keep contacting someone who has stopped replying, unmatched or blocked you, including through other accounts or other apps.
- Never share another member's photos, messages or personal details outside Sabi without their permission.
3. Treat people well
- No harassment, threats, bullying, stalking or intimidation.
- No hate speech or attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
- No unsolicited sexual messages or images.
4. Keep it safe and legal
- Sabi is for adults. Anyone under 18 is not allowed, and any content that sexualises minors is reported to the authorities.
- No nudity or sexually explicit content in posts, profiles or listings.
- No content that promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity.
- Don't use Sabi to sell or arrange anything illegal, including drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods or sexual services.
5. Trade honestly
- Describe products, services and events accurately, with real photos and real prices.
- Deliver what you sold, on the terms you agreed. Keep payments for marketplace orders inside Sabi.
- No scams, pyramid schemes, investment solicitations or requests to move money off the platform.
6. Keep it personal, not promotional
- No spam, mass messaging, fake engagement or automated accounts.
- Don't use Discover or messages to recruit members for other platforms or schemes.
7. Reporting and enforcement
- Report a member, post, comment or listing from its menu in the app. Reports are confidential: the person you report isn't told who reported them.
- Our team reviews reports and may remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently close an account. Serious violations are closed without warning.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then tell us at safety@sabiofficial.com.
