Answers to common questions about applying, your account, matching and the marketplace.
Applying
How do I apply?
Download Sabi when it opens, tap Request access and complete the six-step application: your details, socials, intent and KYC. It takes a few minutes.
How long does review take?
We aim to review every application and KYC within 1–5 days. Your status updates live in the app.
My application was declined. Can I apply again?
Not straight away. If your circumstances change, contact us at support@sabiofficial.com and we'll tell you whether you can reapply.
I signed up with the wrong email.
Sign out from the application screen and sign up again with the right email.
Your account
How do I change my profile?
Open your profile, tap Edit profile, and update your photos, headline, bio, intent modes, link and education. Tap Save changes.
How do I hide from Discover?
Settings → Discretion mode hides you from Discover and search and hides when you were last active. Members you've matched with can still message you.
How do invite codes work?
Every approved member gets five codes. Share a code with someone you'd vouch for; they add it when they apply, and you're notified when they join.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm. You can also request deletion here.
Matching and messages
How does matching work?
In Discover, tap Connect on someone you'd like to meet. If they connect with you too, it's a match and you can message each other.
Can I message someone I haven't matched with?
No. Messages are between matches, or with a seller about their listing.
How do I block or report someone?
Open their profile or your chat with them, tap the menu, and choose Block or Report. Blocked members can't see you or message you.
Marketplace
Who can sell?
Any approved member can open a storefront for products, service packages and events from their profile.
How do I contact a seller?
Open the listing and tap Message seller. The listing is attached to the chat.
Contact support
Email support@sabiofficial.com from the address on your Sabi account and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Report a safety concern
The fastest way is in the app: open the member, post, listing or chat, tap the menu and choose Report. Reports are confidential.
You can also email safety@sabiofficial.com with the member's name or username and what happened. Safety reports are prioritised.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
